Itinerary

Stop At: Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan
We take you to an iconic 50 year old cafe to savour this salad of fritters, hard-boiled egg, shredded jicama, sprouts and cucumber, all drenched in a thick, sweet potato and peanut sauce.
As we wander through the back lanes, we make a quick stop for a cup of spiced tea and an Indian snack at a shop that is a little rough around the edges but with food that is out of this world.
Our final stop, has us strolling around the streets of Little India for a sampling of food that is born from the migration of Chinese sailors to the Malay Archipelago during the 13th century and onward, it’s a fusion of local ingredients, traditional Chinese cooking techniques and flourishes of both colonial (Dutch, Portuguese and English) and neighbourly (Thai and Indian) influence. To end your journey, we dig into a plate of divine noodles along with a local desert of shaved iced with flour jellies that are pandan scented with lashings of smoky brown sugar in coconut cream.
And if the fried banana or local cake stall is open, we simply can't walk by without a sampling !
