Rise & shine to Semenngoh Wildlife Centre where an uncaged orangutan rehabilitation centre awaits. Over 20 orangutans live in the forest within the nature reserve and feeding time takes place between 0900-0930 hrs and 1500-1530 hrs. During the Fruiting Season (usually in December & January) the orangutans at Semenggoh have sufficient food and are highly unlikely to come to the feeding areas. Continue on your journey and paddling leisurely down the mouth of Sungai Sarawak Kiri, one can enjoy beautiful natural settings of limestone formations and towering riverine trees. Lunch will be served at Bidayuh village before exploring a herb garden where guests can see, touch and smell interesting plant species. Look out for sweet smelling treats in the wild such as chempedak, pineapple, cocoa, pepper, changkuk manis and many others. Continue kayaking towards a sandy bank where you can plunge into the river for a cool dip before we make our way to Kampung Semadang, Borneo Highlands.
