3 Days Group Tour to Jianshui and Yuanyang

Day 1 Kunming – Yuanyang

At 9:00AM, your guide will pick you up in Kunming downtown and transfer you to the first destination: Yuanyang Scenic Area which is one of the most famous UNESCO World Heritage sites in Yunnan province. A lunch will be provided en route.

 

Once arrive in Yuanyang, you’ll visit the Bada Rice Terraces firstly. The stunning scenery of vast terraced fields and landscapes will give you an unforgettable memory of its unique natural beauty. Next is the Qingkou Village. In this ethnic village, you may get a glimpse of the local Hani people’s life. Later in the evening, we’ll proceed to Laohuzui for watching beautiful sunset on rice terraces. Don’t forget to bring your cameras to capture the stunning scenery which will surely take your breath away. Stay overnight in Yuanyang Yunti Hotel in Sheng Village or similar.

 

Day 2 Yuanyang – Jianshui

Get up very early today to catch the sunrise at Duoyishu Village. Afterwards, we’ll move to Sheng Village. After lunch, we will proceed to Jianshui. During the journey we will stop at Tuanshan Village which is listed one of the world heritage sites in 2006. Once you arrive in Jianshui, you’ll pay a visit to Zhu Family Garden before checking-into Jianshui Tongxin Hotel or similar.

 

Zhu's Garden: Zhu's Garden is the largest construction of dwelling house in Jianshui County. It stands in Jianxin Street within Jianshui County. Constructed in late Qing Dynasty, Zhu's Garden has a history of more than 100 years. It covers an area of more than 20,000 square meters and has 42 courtyards. Zhu's Garden has the fame of "Southern Yunnan Grand View Garden" and now has been one of the major attractions in Jianshui County tourism.

 

Day 3 Jianshui – Kunming

After breakfast, we’ll attend a local tofu workshop. Tofu, also bean curd, is one of the most important food of the area. Then we’ll proceed to Jianshui Confucian Temple.

 

Jianshui Confucian Temple: Jianshui Confucian Temple was built in 1285 during the Yuan Dynasty. It covers an area of 7.6 hectares and is the third largest Confucian temple in China. Jianshui Confucian Temple is featured in the style of Beijing Confucian Temple. It has great values in studying both the history of Confucius and ancient architectural art.

 

After lunch, you’ll be transported back to Kunming downtown.
