Kyoto Backstreet Night Tour

We will meet you at exit 17 of 'Shijo' Station in downtown Kyoto and begin by heading on foot to a local 'tachinomi' standing bar. This little known gem of an establishment is run by generations of the same family and is a great start to any night. Expect to meet a couple of locals, try a drink you have maybe never tried before and soak up the atmosphere, perfect for the first Kampai!

Next we move on to our Izakaya dinner in the famous Nishiki area of the city, dinner is included in your fee and there are many eating options that can be tailored to a variety of dietary needs. If you think you may have trouble, just let us know in advance ad we will figure it out :)

From here, your walking tour begins as your guide expertly steers you to through local backstreet drinking establishments for a post dinner drinks and explorations. There will be excellent photo opportunities, a chance to learn a little drinking Japanese, and best of all just to relax, not worry about where you are heading, and collect some special memories!
