You will be visiting a temple that was built in 1509 by the first chief priest Kogaku Soko Zenji, the Zen master.
Since its establishment, famous priests have inherited it for generations. The main building was left as it was originally built and it remains as a National Treasure.
At this temple it has a beautiful Kare-sansui Garden (dry landscape garden).
The tour starts with the guided tour of the garden, then move to Zen meditation experience. After refreshing your body and soul, you will relax with the tea ceremony at the temple. If you wish to stay longer and have lunch, you can try Shojin cuisine lunch.
