About this activity

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Guanacaste and drive through the gorgeous Costa Rican backroads to La Fortuna, home of Arenal Volcano. Next, we will visit the Arenal Hanging Bridges, which is a beautiful, environmentally friendly project located near the Arenal Volcano. The trails and bridges span a total of 2 miles, allowing you to see the rainforest from a birds perspective! Walk at your own pace as these trails bring you as close as you'd ever hope to see the rainforest and its inhabitants. You will also have access to stunning views of the rainforest and mountains that are miles away. Then we will visit a local school near Cerro Alegre where you can meet the children and learn about the local education system in Costa Rica. You are welcome to bring gifts and school supplies for the children if you would like! Our last stop on this fun-filled day trip is a visit to the Los Lagos hot springs, where you can enjoy a drink, relax in the thermal waters, and have dinner. After dinner, we will head for your hotel in Guanacaste around 7:30pm.
