This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Cinque Terre Trails, Riomaggiore to Monterroso Italy
With this private tour to the Cinque Terre you will meet your licensed private guide at the port of La Spezia and together you will go from the port to the train station (walking or by taxi - price of taxi not included) and with a short train ride of about 10 minutes you will reach Riomaggiore, the first town (the train ticket is included).
Your friendly local guide will make you explore the lovely coastal towns of Cinque Terre, taking you to the spots with the best views, making sure you will not miss out on anything that is worthwhile.
Together with your private guide you will travel from town to town by ferry-boat (or train in case of bad weather and during autumn-winter time).
During the day you will have time for lunch in a local restaurant to try the delicious food and wine of the region (please note the price of lunch is not included in the tour price).
After your visit of the various villages, the tour will conclude as you will take the train back to La Spezia station and from there to the port (walking or by taxi) on time to board your ship (please contact us if you wish to arrange a different pick-up or drop-off point).
Please note that the boat service is suspended between November 1st and March 20th (transfers between villages will be by train during this period).
As this is a private tour, you will not be part of a group, the guide will be entirely dedicated to you.
Due to the nature of the places visited, this tour is unfortunately not suitable for persons with mobility limitations.

Andreas was a great guide. We met him and took the train to Monterroso, where we strolled and took pictures of the lovely Mediterranean. We went into the Old Town and did some shopping, then went to Vernazza for lunch. Andreas guided us with care to the most picturesque spots and a delicious restaurant, then we took the boat to Corniglia. He pointed out the vineyards and the reason for the colors on the buildings, showed us how they lower and raise the fishing boats every day, and encouraged us to try the Lemoncino (which is delicious over ice cream!). He was a wealth of interesting information, and we enjoyed this tour immensely. Andreas even fretted when half of our group got delayed on the train ride back, and he stayed with us until he put all of us in a taxi back to the cruise. A very responsible and knowledgeable guide!
Our day in the Cinque Terre with Diego was one of the highlights of our Western Med cruise. He was an informative guide. The description of the tour said we would visit two of the towns by ferry, but it was actually by a private small boat. What a pleasant surprise. Miguel, the “captain”, took us along the shoreline and into the mouths of several grottoes. He positioned us for perfect photos, and we got to go right into each harbor. Diego steered us to a lovely restaurant for lunch and then guided us back to the ship.
