About this activity

Board our modern and spacious power catamaran as we depart from Marina de Lagos heading towards Ponta da Piedade. On the way, pass the amazing golden beaches of Meia Praia, Batata, D.Ana, Camilo and the Lighthouse.

As we cruise towards the famous caves of Ponta da Piedade, listening to your guide as he explains you how to use your gear and about safety and navigation rules. Once there, board your kayak with the help of the crew and follow the guide paddling through the caves, small coves and beaches. Witness the mesmerizing colors and shapes of this ancient place, and keep an eye open for the beautiful underwater tunnels.

After the kayak tour, the catamaran will be waiting nearby. Back at the boat, you will have some free time to go for a swim.

After that, it is time to go back. Jump back on board, soak up the sun and just relax as you cruise your way back to the city.

My friends and I had a great time! Guides were very nice and made sure everyone was ok (even when I felt a bit sea sick!). We were able to leave bags, phones etc. All on the boat while in the kayaks. Showed round some amazing caves and made sure the group stayed together well and knew where they had to go to stay safe when there are other boats around. Even got some time at the end to swim in the sea and sun tan! Would highly recommend this tour!

My wife and enjoyed our small tour kayaking trip with 2 guides. Got to see the caves and grottos. Went on the 2pm tour and was perfect timing for the weather and wind. Usually after 3pm the wind picks up. Our row back was a bit breezy. Make sure you bring your GoPro to capture the sites.

We were very happy with the facilities and guides, who were conscientious of our safety with our kids. We had two 12 year olds who kayaked together and the guide was conscientious of their safety. We only wished we had smaller life vests as ours were so large we could not sit back well in our kayak seats. This was a make-up trip as our first got canceled for high winds; as such, it was a bit crowded. Thanks for a great trip!

Engaging friendly guide and captain. Beautiful excursion on the water and in the caves with good exercise. Fun group experience and just the right amount of time on the Catamaran and in the kayaks.
