Pass By: The Las Vegas Strip, S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
You’ll be picked up from your Las Vegas hotel in the morning and taken on a comfortable 4.5-hour drive by minivan to beautiful Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah. Enjoy a light morning snack including a muffin, juice, crackers and granola bar. When you arrive, your guide will take you to the visitor center to get you acquainted with the park, famous for its gorgeous landscape of geological mazes.
Stop At: Bryce Canyon National Park, UT
Follow your guide on several light walks to scenic lookout points along the canyon’s rim to admire incredible horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters, hoodoos (thin rock spires), windows and fins made of colorful limestone rocks. You’ll spend approximately three hours in the park. At midday, enjoy a picnic lunch or lunch at a restaurant, depending on the weather. After your tour of Bryce Canyon, relax on the drive back to your Las Vegas hotel.

At Inspiration Point, three levels provide great perspectives of the main amphitheater. See the gnarled trunks of bristlecone pines and red hoodoos set against the Boat Mesa formation. If you look carefully as you walk through these barren slopes, you might discover a short-horned lizard trying to remain camouflaged!

Stop At: Sunset Point, Bryce Canyon National Park, UT
Head to Sunset Point, offering vistas of some of Bryce Canyon’s most breathtaking hoodoos. Admire the rainbow of colors of the Claron Formation and learn how this unique rock is composed of limestone deposited approximately 50 million years ago from an ancient lake.

Stop At: Sunrise Point, Bryce Canyon National Park, UT
Your guide will also take you to Sunrise Point, where you’ll see stark pink cliffs and ponderosa pines dominating the forest above the rim. If you wish to explore further at any of these points, ask your guide about the best trails and head below the rim on your own for more challenging hikes.

What a great trip. Excellent guide (Greg) and fabulous place. Long ride there and back but well worth it. Have booked through Viator many times and they have never let us down, always using very good local companies for their trips, supplying good lunches, plenty of water and comfortable transport.
James Phelps, our guide to Bryce Canyon, was extraordinary. Knowledgeable, communicative but not overwhelming, kept a nice pace and atmosphere with a very diverse group. Big thumbs up!
Our guide/driver James was excellent and knew all about the local history around Bryce, he took us to the best locations and was willing to take the extra few minutes to help us get the best photos. Highly recommend him if you can request that he be your driver.
The trip was exceptional, as was our guide, James. Very friendly, knowledgeable as well as a talented photographer. I'm only giving this four stars because of the low ratio of seeing sights to driving. I wish we could have stayed longer and hike the canyon a bit more. Not that it can be easily fixed, since Bryce canyon is just really far from Vegas.
