The trip started with a 6 am pick up and finished at around 9 pm. Traffic was smooth, spectacular views and clear blue sky. Bob, the driver guide was one of the best tour guides we have met, attentive, with a good sense of humour. You could not ask for a better one. Simple breakfast (muffin and juice), lunch (choice of sandwich with chips), water and snacks were all provided. No regrets.
We did the south rim of the Grand Canyon highly recommend this trip, had an amazing time we did the VIP tour with Bob our tour guide who was superb and very knowledgeable , looked after us and we had a good laugh.
We had a very fun day going to the Grand Canyon. Although it was a long 14 hour day, it actually went by fast due to our excellent tour guide, Bob, who was so interesting and informative of the places we visited on our way, and of course the Grand Canyon. We had a full van with 11 people including Bob which made not a lot of leg room and the person who picked us up at our hotel did not take us to Hoover Dam like he should have but Bob took our group to see it on the way back to our hotels. He aimed for excellent customer service. Definitely would tour again with Bob to other tours if we come back to Las Vegas!
Very long day, but worth every minute
First of all, this tour was wonderful, especially with our Tour Guide Barry from Adventure Photo Tours. We were in a small group of 8 people and the people were all nice. Barry is a funny, experienced and knowledgeable Tour Guide. Often he told us nice and funny stories The Tour was well planned and the timeline was well set. This tour was worth to join. Really much much better, than in a big tour bus with many people. Thanks so much Barry, keep going on like this. We had a lot of fun : Vincent and Jane
How do you store wealth of information about Grand Canyon in one head? That's what both me and the other 2 tourists said about Bob - our tour guide. He really likes what he is doing. I really like the fact that he explains the tour itinerary of what is included and not. I knew what to expect before I even reach the destination. Excellent driving skill - some people may think it's a bit too fast but I drove 120KM/hr in a tiny Suzuki Celerio and in the middle of sandstorm before, so his speed was just fine and within the law limits. The SUV has multi-area weather system - so I can keep the heat for me and chilly temperature for the canadian tourists at the back. Good shock absorbers and suspension - for the pot holes along on the highway. More than enough restroom stops and he was pretty flexible and never tried to rush you. His SUV comes equipped with food, snacks and cold water. He even provide blankets and pillows in case you want extra comfort. The road is a straight and fairly empty highway so the chance of you getting motion sickness is nil - unless you're that sensitive and even then, Bob has a remedy for that. Just ask him. Nice guy too, polite and always ready to help. Grand Canyon were snowy, makes it more beautiful with the bright red and white topping, we stopped for a bit at Route 66, fairly good time at the Hoover. Arizona is beautiful in winter.
