we booked through Viator with no issues The company was Comedy on deck , the driver Gary was excellent, and the tour guide Ralph was hilarious the trip was well organized, , stop for breakfast was really good and no waiting as Ralph took all the orders and called ahead to the restaurant. Canyon was fantastic along with the sky rim . really enjoyed this trip and would highly recommend it.
Well the Grand Canyon is spectacular you cannot write a bad review on that as it is what it is a force of nature, majestic, brilliant, frightening, beautiful. The tour company however, the guide was Ralph a comedian , well what can I say he never stopped talking the whole trip and he had the most irritating voice imaginable. Some of what he said was interesting he had done his homework, as he kept telling us. The other major bugbear was the bus had no air conditioning, it was melting 39 degrees Celsius and no air con! Come on like, I think Ralph kept talking to try to distract us from the heat. Overall it is worth doing as it is a short trip just 3 hours and you see the Hoover Dam as well. If you can afford a better company than do it for the air con and a more reserved guide.
very funny and informative. Glad I went. First time there. I did think it was a private tour, bus had about 40 people, however no problem.
The tour staff (Ralph and Gary) were so friendly and entertaining throughout the trip and the grand canyon is a sight to behold. Highly recommended.
From start to finish, our tour was tremendous Jason entertained us with quips and clever commentary which was equally informative. The breakfast was a wonderful surprise; simply delicious and because Jason ordered our food choices ahead, it was hot and fresh upon our arrival- no waiting was great. A quick stop at the O’Callaghan-Tillman Bridge to view the Hoover Dam was awe-inspiring. Loved the walk up/down from the bridge through the attractive informational plaques. We spent 3 hours at the Hualapai Tribes Western Rim location. A spectacular 3 experience stop highlighted by the horse shoe Cantilever Bridge overlooking the canyon - a must see. Yet up the road and around the bend is the stunning Eagles Nest, a 360 degree projection out-cropping over the Canyon. We walked around this well-worn path for hours, taking hundreds of pictures. The Hualapai people provide a very delicious, filling lunch overlooking the canyon. The last stop is a fun- interactive Cowtown. Great for families. Horse-back riding, roping, magic, and ice cream! Helicopter rides are also available to the more daring. The Hualapai Tribe have created a fun, interactive experience with something for all Jason of Comedy Tours was attentive to all his guests, assuring we all enjoyed our day, stayed hydrated, and laughed throughout our day. Jason also does the Hoover Dam your - again a big winner!
While the tour was great and the guide was knowledgable in regards to the facts around the history of Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon I did not appreciate that a dog was allowed on the tour bus without me knowing -I get it that it was a “guide dog” and I did not want to make a scene or look like a “A**” so I took Benadryl and hoped for the best because I’m allergic to dogs -I have used Viator all over the world for tours and this is the first time I have ever had this happen -wish I was given the option or the guide at least asked if anyone was allergic on the bus -we were on the bus round trip for almost 5 hour. Apart from the dog on the bus I would recommend this tour
Great Experience. Frank was a very funny entertainer on the bus. Plenty of time to do everything offered at the Canyon.
Our tour guide Ralph did an excellent job engaging the tour members and informing us about the tour the canyon and Las Vegas (on the return trip). Ralph and the driver Steve were conscientious, friendly and looking for feedback to make the tour a unique experience. Thanks guys!
Absolutely fantastic trip well organised and Ralph the tour guide was brilliant kept us entertained all day.fantastic.
Gary (driver) and Jody (guide) were wonderful - we had a fabulous trip and everhthing worked vedy smoothly. The GC touf itself was sll that was advertised and more! Well worth the cost!
An absolutely amazing day with Comedy on Deck buses. Had breakfast at a diner (a very pleasant surprise as expected to get an airplane type breakfast on the bus) and lunch in the canyon, food at both stops was amazing. Jodie was our guide and was a font of knowledge with a wicked sense of humour. Steve the driver was great too, very courtious! A great day with a quick stop at The Hoover Dam and a very pleasant drive through Boulder City and past Lake Meade. Would highley recommend this tour and especially using Comedy on Deck buses. A great day out for everyone with amazing views you won't forget!
Absolutely amazing tour! Jody the guide was funny and entertaining! The drive felt very quick because of her! Fil was also a brilliant driver who got us there safely! The sit down breakfast was an added bonus as we got to know another couple on the trip. Overall was a fab day and would definitely recommend!
Jodi was great. She explained the scope of the tour really well. Very knowledgeable and pleasant guide. Film was also very nice. Enjoyed the whole tour especially the helicopter ride.
What a wonderful day! The company handled everything professionally and put our mind at ease that we would be picked up on time. Breakfast and lunch were over the top. Best roasted chicken lunch and many selections for breakfast. In short, they have thought of everything for a great experience. Thank you Jody Darling for all the info to help our Vegas visit memorable.
The tour was awesome, the guide was funny, well-informed, and very helpful. Had plenty of time to see the canyon. We were provided with food too, so no need to worry about breakfast or lunch!
Our first experience to Las Vegas from Pensacola Florida. My Wife and I along with our 16y/o daughter was treated professionally by the the tour guide on our VIP Grand Canyon Tour
Exactly as how it was described. Tour guide gave lots of helpful information. Made trip go by faster. Were not pushy on selling extra things. Just gave information and her opinion. Kids loved it and they voted to give a 5 star. Having breakfast really makes it a great deal, because it is a long day. I was not too crazy about the Western town on the third stop inside the Grand Canyon, but I know that is part of the Grand Canyon stops. Awesome trip, guide and driver!!!
