If you have a day to spare while you are in Vegas, take a tour to the Valley of Fire. So beautiful! Our tour guide, Clayton, was awesome. Very knowledgeable in the area and since we were on a small tour, we got a lot of extra information. He knew ways to get around crowds, the best place to lunch with a view and without a crowd. Jam packed day of beautiful sites. Definitely take this tour!
great tour guide Linda - very attentive - would suggest this to anyone wishing to do this type of tour
Awesome day Great guide Very interesting information Very informative Tasty lunch Had fun with the little squirrels
It was a great day the guide was very knowledge and informative it was a fun day and i enjoyed it very much
Fantastic! Our tour guide was Peter. We were a small tour of 4. We're from Honolulu, Hawaii. The second couple was from London, England. En route to Valley of Fire, Peter gave us a historical background of Las Vegas. We stopped halfway at an Indian convenience store, which provided modern facilities. The rest stop provided at Valley of Fire was "rustic" explained Peter. We've been to Red Rock, but Red Rock pales in comparison to Valley of Fire. This is not a sit down tour. It's an interactive walking tour as Peter points out petroglyphs, water wells, and the distinctive feature of each site. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. Peter allowed us to take as much time as needed to see and experience each site. We even got to see the site from "Star Trek" where Captain Kirk was buried. And the lunch, I could barely eat all my sandwich. You have a choice of selection. Even the ground squirrel enjoyed the chips. And the Lost City Museum Tour Center is full of information regarding the history of the area, the Indians that lived there, and the many artifacts utilized by them. Peter made sure we were comfortable, answered all our question, and very well informed. He surely enjoys what he is doing and his enthusiasm is catching. PS: Instead of dropping us at our pickup point, he dropped us off at our hotel.. That's service!
we had a great trip! the driver Chris was very knowledgeable and personable. couldn't have been happier!
Great, the tour guide was the best I think his name was either Lloyd or Larry but he was well versed on the Valley of Fire. I will be taking the hiking tour the next time I come back to Vegas
The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Because we were a small goup 4 our tour guide took us to some beautiful, less traveled viewing areas. The entire trip was awe inspiring, however, the museum was not open. The small ground squirrels at out lunch stop were cute and entertaining.
