About this activity
Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon on a day trip from Las Vegas. Enjoy complimentary hotel pick up around 5:30am from your Las Vegas Strip hotel and also bottle water, beverages and snacks.
After get in the comfy minivan (up to 7 people) your first stop for stretching, goodies and restroom is going to be in Mesquite - NV. Than you'll head to Bryce Canyon but before that a stop at the amazing Red Canyon - UT.
You will arrive at Bryce Canyon at approximately 11:00am. When you visit the beautiful canyon with its stunning hoodoo formations, red cliffs, pink soil, and ponderosa pines you will wonder why the area was not incorporated into the nearby national park. Named after the Mormon Pioneer Ebenezer Bryce, Bryce Canyon became a National Park in 1924. This park is famous for its unique geology, which consists of a series of horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters carved from the eastern edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau in southern Utah. Over time, erosion has shaped the colorful limestone rock into bizarre shapes, including slot canyons, windows, fins and spires called hoodoos. Tinted with colors too numerous and subtle to name, these whimsically arranged rocks create a wondrous landscape of mazes, offering some of the most exciting and memorable walks and hikes imaginable. After visit Bryce Canyon, stop for lunch and than it's time to go to Zion National Park
Located at the junction of the Colorado Plateau, Great Basin and Mojave Desert provinces in Southwestern Utah, Zion National Park protects 229 square miles (593 square km) of dramatic landscape with sculptured canyons and soaring cliffs. Follow the paths where ancient native people and pioneers walked. Gaze up at massive sandstone cliffs of cream, pink, and red that soar into a brilliant blue sky. Experience wilderness in a narrow slot canyon. Zion’s unique array of plants and animals will enchant you as you absorb the rich history of the past and enjoy the excitement of present day adventures.
At approximately 6pm you'll start your way back to Las Vegas. It's expected be back to your pick up location around 8:30pm depending on traffic conditions, stretching and restroom stops.

Fantastic tour...you see so.much. David and Wagner are excellent tour guides and go out if their way for you. It is a long day but very worth it.
Our tour guide Scott was incredible and so much fun!! The hike at Bryce was gorgeous. Wish the time at Zion was more but will just have to return another time. The cold drinks and snacks provided were very appreciated. Great tour and amazing guide!!!!!
Scott, our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, very exuberant and genuinely concerned that everyone in the group was having a great time. He had a child-like wonder and encouraged the observations of the tour members. We could tell that he was eco conscious although there was never a lecture that made his feelings known. We have been on many tours before with Airbridge and Greyhound but our first with Viator. The sights are spectacular, but a happy, friendly, caring guide will make the experience go into a different realm. I have been all over the world but this is my BEST experience yet. If there is another tour with Scott, I will not hesitate to sign up.
I could not go last Saturday as expected because I did not see the late email from local tour operator. I was left with a contact # for the local tour operator but I called multiple times with zero responses. As a result, I missed the tour. Viator customer service has helped me to reschedule my trip from last Saturday to this coming Saturday.
We had a wonderful time and the guides were awesome. Very friendly made you feel right at home. We will book with you again for sure!
Nature at its best both parks are wonderful. Our guide Scott was great and was very kind. Only problem was that we had some guests on our bus who had to be back in Vegas by certain time. They kept insisting and our trip was some how cut short and our driver had to derive at really high speed to get these two guests back in Vegas. That was very disturbing. If these guests had limited time Viator should not have booked them. We were worried about our safety.
Great day trip! David made sure we saw everything and was extremely knowledgeable. Made plenty of stops in Zion so show us all the angles. We had a wonderful group of 10 people, and everyone got along so well. I highly recommend this tour! The day is longer than advertised, I got picked up at 6:30am and dropped home at 11pm; so make sure you don’t have plans for the evening of the day you do the tour.
I had a great time on the combo Bryce/Zion tour. It was a long day, but we got to see a lot. Scotty was a great diver/guide.
Scott did an awesome job on our tour. We enjoyed the sites and the conversation. We had a beautiful full of fun and adventure!
The magnificence of nature more then outweighs the travel time. A knowledgeable guide driver only added to the experience.
The tour was great. The scenery was very beautiful. The drive was not so great! The tour was conducted in a Ford SUV, I believe the Expedition, which has seven seats. However, there were seven adults on the tour, not including the driver, and the seating was cramped in the last row. I was seated between two adult men and could not even remove a jacket until we stopped and got out. My arms were constantly in front of me and not at my sides, This was not a vehicle for seven adults and a small tour bus or passenger van would have been more comfortable and appropriate especially when making many stops where we all had to 'climb' out of the SUV. I am a local resident entertaining a friend and I will not book a tour again where it states 'luxury SUV'.
The scenery were fantastic! Our guide David was very familiar with the area and adjusted routes to avoid potentially slippery road conditions. He stopped at the most scenic points for viewing and photographs so we felt like we took in the important sites without having to drive around in search of them on our own! The strategic stops also made the long drives manageable. Definitely want to repeat the tour in the Spring for a different prospective.
Everything we saw was breathtaking. Guide did not come prepared at all. He was only a driver and no knowledge of the places. car was too small for 7 people and I was very uncomfortable and its a long ride.
I was a single traveler on this tour. Due to travel issues i missed my first attempt at this tour earlier in the week. The tour guide David was still nice enough to take me even though i was the only one who booked this tour for this day. We ended up bonding immediately, David was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We Went to Zion and exploded a few trails, the views were breathtaking. I took a ton of pictures and short videos but it did not do Zion justice. Due to flash flooding the day before we were unable to go to The Narrows like i originally hoped. Also after we were done at Zion the shortest path to Bryce was closed so David gave me a few options on what i could do. Including still go to Bryce but would have less time or go to Red Rock Canyon or Valley of Fire. I ended up going to Valley of Fire to be able to have a longer time taking in the views. Valley of Fire itself was wonderful and the pictures i was able to take were amazing. David always took time to keep things honest with me on time and give me multiple options. After this tour i felt like i have known him all my life and i still have to go back to Zion plenty of unfinished business as well as see Bryce. I do not doubt if i was able to go to Bryce or chose to that it would of lived up to the hype. I'd strongly recommend this to anyone and plan on doing this again myself. David also had home made sandwiches which were wonderful, plenty of snacks and drinks as well.
