Provo Road Trip

Want to know more about the culture and history of the Turks and Caicos? Our Provo Road Tour takes you on a land based trip; each stop a discovery of the roots of the Turks and Caicos. Well take you on a sightseeing tour in an air conditioned bus. First stop will be at the Department of Environmental and Coastal Resources (DECR) to visit exhibits showing the aquatic wildlife of our surrounding waters. Also learn about our conservation efforts to preserve our local ecosystems. Next stop is not your average farm- well take you to our local Conch Farm to visit our object of our national dish. Learn more about the illustrious conch animal and our efforts to prevent its extinction. Other stops on the tour are places such as the imfamous Hole (a natural sink hole), former plantation Cheshire Hall, and Sapodilla Hill. What would a tour of the Turks and Caicos be if it didnt include a little rum? Last on our list is the rum shop FOTTAC, where you can sample the flavors of Bambarra Rum and learn how it got its name.
