Barkhor
market, by the heart of the old town of Lhasa, visit
Jokhang
Temple, which is Tibet’s most sacred shrine, the focal point of pilgrims from the entire Tibetan plateau. After lunch time, we will head north of the city about 10 minutes to

Gyantse, the town has preserved much of its old-world atmosphere, and Tibetan rural life continues here, virtually unchanged, against a back drop of magnificent 14-15th century fortresses and temples. First we will visit

Chode
Temple
Complex. Then we will explore
Gyantse
