Sintra is a picturesque village with a wide variety of historic buildings and beautiful landscapes that make it one of the most popular destinations. In its historic centre there are beautiful cobbled streets full of traditional shops and cafés, all surrounding the gothic-style National Palace. Other must-see attractions in Sintra are: Pena Palace, Moorish Castle, Quinta da Regaleira, Seteais Palace and Monserrate Palace. Sintra was considered as a World Heritage site by UNESCO.
