The journey begins with the visit to Sintra, known for its mysticism and Natural Heritage, as well as for its particular microclimate. The Sierra is heavily wooded, providing for a lush landscape where we can find stately homes and palaces where the Portuguese kings spent the summer holidays. We propose visits to the following places of interest; the Moorish Castle, the Convent of Capuchos, Sintra National Palace, the Palace of Monserrate, and finally, the Palace of Pena, where one can walk many paths to take-in the breath-taking views. Our driver/guide will suggest the best local restaurants to lunch. After lunch the journey continues with the visit to Roca´s Cape, westernmost point in continental Europe, passing by the famous village of Cascais and the Casino Estoril.
