About this activity
Departure from Lisbon Towards Fatima, one of the most emblematic Catholic shrines in the world. We will visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary which was built to commemorate the apparition of the Virgin Mary to the Three Little Shepherds. On the other side stands the newly built Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, the fourth largest Catholic temple in the world in capacity. Here you will have the option of attending daily Mass.
Time to visit the village and buy souvenirs, or go through the Via Sacra de Valinhos
This sacred way has 14 stations in memory of the Passion of Jesus Christ and built on the path that the three shepherds traveled to the place of the apparitions of the Virgin Mary.
We will leave for Vila da Nazaré, with a mild climate and natural beauty, with the oldest traditions of Portugal linked to the ancient fishing arts. Also known to hold the record of the largest surfing wave in the world.
We will cross the road of the fishermen where you will appreciate, photograph for later remember, the resounding view on the open sea of the Atlantic.
Towards Vila de São Martinho do Porto is a charming village situated in a natural, beautiful and calm bay. The bay, shaped like a shell, is connected to the ocean by a narrow opening.
The last stop will be in the medieval village of Óbidos, in the top 10 of the most beautiful medieval towns in Europe, where you can enjoy a magnificent and romantic historical center, surrounded by walls of classic battlements, composed of a labyrinth of cobbled streets and whitewashed houses White. Not to be missed is the delicious cherry liqueur from Óbidos
