About this activity

After being picked up from your hotel, leave Lisbon for Fátima Sanctuary, one of Europe's most important Catholic pilgrimage sites, and enjoy a tour of the magnificent site. During your visit, learn more about the site's history and hear the story of the apparition of Our Lady of Fátima to the three shepherds.

Next, head to Batalha to visit the Batalha Monastery, before stopping for lunch (own expense) in the coastal village of Nazaré. After lunch, spend time strolling around the charming fishing village and watching the surfers at the beach.

Continue along the coast, passing through the traditional villages of Foz do Arelho and São Martinho do Porto, then arrive at the historic village of Óbidos, where the highlight is the town's well-preserved medieval ramparts.

Back in Lisbon, you will be dropped at your hotel.

Tour was fantastic! Manuel Sylvia was great! He was right on time to pick us up at our hotel. This small max tour of 6 was actually only me and my husband so we had all of his attention to ourselves. He didn't rush us at any one spot and told us a lot about Portuguese history. I would definitely recommend!
