eBikes were in good condition and worked very well considering the very steep hills of the area. We were given an opportunity to practice on a flat surface at the start of the tour which was great. 95% of the tour requires you to bike on road alongside traffic which was a bit dangerous, lots of cars, steep hills, narrow streets, pedestrians. Guide did not have clear path of where we were going he seemed to be deciding on the fly. This meant he did not give instructions to us until the last second. Many times we were scrambling through intersections and at some points he had us stop part way up a hill before knowing which direction we were going. To engage the eBike you need to peddle. You can't balance on a bike on an incline and peddle, you must start on a flat surface. Many times had to either walk heavy bike up rest of hill or return to bottom of hill to be able to peddle and start up hill again. Not an easy tour to follow someone. Not so bad if you know where you are going.
Great tour. Peter is so knowledgeable in Portugal history and gave us so many interesting info. The bikes were good and the ride fun . Hills are manageable with the power of the bike. Andre our other guide stops traffic and keeps you safe . Andre thank you for coming to my rescue !!!
Lots of fun. Peter is and excellent guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. Great way to see the city and get amazing views. Highly recommend.
Our guide Luis was very informative, kept us going at a good pace but was always considerate of safety, and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We only had a day in Lisbon so it was a great way to get orientated and see a lot of the old town and moorish area of Lisbon, whilst learning about some of the history of this fascinating city.
It was fun and a great way to see the city of Lisbon! Anna, the tour guide was excellent! She spent a lot of time and was very knowledgeable about the history and sites! Great day!
Laurencio (hope I spelled that right) was a very patient and fabulous guide. Quick review how to work the bikes and we were off. With Lisbon having so many hills the electric bike was a treat. Wonderful areas taken to with fabulous views and of course having an informative guide essential. Small group was also a bonus. Would really recommend this experience
The tour was a great way to see a lot of the city. It was really hot but water was provided. The bikes were excellent and felt very safe! Peter was an excellent tour guide full of really interesting information! Would highly recommend!
Our family LOVED this tour! We had the best time going up and down the hills of Lisbon on this tour. My chain fell off a few times and one of our bikes ran out before the end but we're an adventure loving family so, all was good! Our tour guide James was amazing too! Definitely recommend--now my husband wants and electric bike!
The electric bike made it easy to bike Lisbon. The guide was helpful and informative. Highly recommend the tour
Good introduction to e-bikes and a fun way to see the less accessible parts of the city to other vehicles. Our guide Simon was great - very knowledgeable and informative. I was a nervous rider but felt very safe even when riding the busy city streets. Fortunately a lot of the tour was on quieter roads / paths. Got off the bike regularly to look around / take pics which I liked but my husband would have preferred longer cycling and less stops. Overall a really good experience and value for money - thank you.
Gracias Pete and Gabriel wonderful tour,Pete very knowledgeable ,Highly recommend this tour,Susana and Angelo
