We enjoyed it very much. Learning how tile is made, tasting wine and cheese and sampling local licquor. Paulo our tour guide was. excelent. He even went out of his way to show us a local restaurant to eat at. We wanted something small and typical of Portugal.
The Viator tour was awesome and we ended up with a private tour of several wineries, a distillery and awesome information from local experts. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the quality of this tour and the wine expertise of the guide who is also a motorcycle enthusiast which made the day wonderful. My wife and I are members of numerous wineries but this Lisbon Wine Tasting experience was not only unique but very memorable and well worth our time! Thank you!
Paulo our guide was very helpful and wine knowledgeable and we had a very enjoyable time visiting three wineries. He also gave us insight to the setubal wine region and took us to a really great restaurant for lunch.
We were picked up at our B and B door on time. Our driver was friendly and informative as he droveus to our first stop at a small winery in Setabul. We sampled four excellent wines and toured the winery. Everyone was so nice. We then went on to two more stops to sample wine a spirits. Each stop was wonderful. An amazing day.
Our sons gave us this tour as a Christmas gift and since theyve never experienced or been to Portugal, they booked this tour just based on the reviews and they were not wrong!! Our guide, lucky for me and my husband, was none other than the owner of the tour company John Dickmann or Joao in Portuguese - definitely second to none - top notch service from start to end. He is extremely knowledgeable about Portugal and the wine industry. His warmth and generosity made us feel like lifelong friends. We highly recommend him and his company to anyone who would love to visit Lisbon. We hope to visit Morocco one day and would love to have John or someone from his company be our guide. If we could give more than 5 stars, we definitely would!!
Strongly recommend this tour! Ricardo was absolutely wonderful and really made the day special! Enjoyed all three stops, but the first winery had the best wine in my opinion!
