Sintra is stunning and a must-do for anyone visiting Portugal. Even though there was heavy rain, our guide did her best to make sure we enjoyed the Pena palace and the town of Sintra. The stop at Cabo de Roca is short which is all that is needed to see the wonderful view. Personally, I felt the stop in Cascais was unnecessary- there is not much to do in this town and it is not very different from Lisboa. Would recommend more time in Sintra to explore. Overall a solid experience!
Excellent guide and lovely lunch in the small village. Despite heavy rain our guide and driver made sure we had an enjoyable day. I would recommend this tour for those who are less able to walk as the coach makes seeing Sintra so much easier as there are some very steep hills.
Excellent tour and excellent guide. Saw a lot of beautiful and popular attractions with some time for shopping.
Wanted to see more palaces
Rushed through pena palace. Lots of time in the bus. Enough time around cascais to look around.
This tour was not what we expected. We thought we were getting a small group and English speaking tour. However, we we cattled into a large bus with a tour guidealthough friendly was translating 4-5 languages throughout the tour. We were rushed and waiting in line a long time at he castle...shoulder to shoulder with many other tour groups. Not a tour we would recommend.
Just ok... extremely hot and stuffy on the bus. We asked several times for more air, driver obliged, but had to ask again each time we got going again. Guide (Dorita) was very robotic. She did little to try to connect with the tour. She spoke French to me the whole trip... I'm American. Sinta is ok.
