This tour to Porto starts with a comfortable trip in the Alfa Pendular Train – the fastest train in Portugal, from the Oriente Railway Station in Lisbon to Oporto Campanha train station. At the arrival, enjoy your free time to have lunch (not included) in one of the many local restaurants in the surrounding area. At 2 pm, your guide picks you up at the main entrance of Campanha train station and your tour in this amazing city begins. After passing the famous Aliados Avenue surrounded by a tremendous architecture, the next stop is Sao Bento Railway Station. Look around you and be awed by the stunning tiles panels depicting some of the most important scenes of Portugal’s history, adding even more value to this majestic building. Crossing the iconic Dom Luiz I Bridge, we reach Vila Nova de Gaia. Take a break and have a dazzlingly beautiful view of the Douro River and the Old Town. After admiring the amazing landscape that only Porto can provide you, get ready to visit one of the top Port wine cellars and enjoy a finest Port Wine tasting, learning more about its production and different flavors. By the end of this tour, the guide will drop you off at Oporto Campanha Station to take the train back to Lisbon.
