A great ride through super scenery in historic coaches which would not be allowed to run on main lines anymore in most countries because they have wooden bodies. As a steam engine driver myself, I could appreciate the competent way that the locomotive was handled. The animation by the actors in period costumes adds to the fun of the trip too. The terminus is within 20m of the italian border, there is little there, but the station buffet with its sun terrace can be recommended.
