Itinerary

Day 1: Ljubljana, a walking tour of the city center, Ljubljana caste with funicular and a boat ride + accomodation

Stop At: Ljubljana Old Town, Ljubljana Slovenia
We will start with a 3 hour city tour of Slovenia’s capital, Ljubljana.

Walking tour of the old part of the city including the Dragon bridge,

Prešeren square, the National Library, the Ljubljanica river and the Three Bridges. Shop for souvenirs in the open air market and admire the charm of the city’s famous medieval streets.

The visit to the beautifully renovated Ljubljana medieval caste will include a ride with a modern funicular.

To finish our tour we will take a boat ride along Ljubljanica river to see Ljubljana-s beach and view the city and the bridges from the best angle.

Free for lunch and shopping. After that check in at the BB.

Possible evening visit to the city for evening views, dinner and drinks.

Visit to Ljubljana's medieval castle by modern funicular.

A boat ride along Ljubljanica river to see Ljubljana-s beach and view the city and the bridges from the best angle.

Accommodation included: A B&B in a modern guest house 15 min from the city center. A nice room with a double or two single beds and a bathroom.

Day 2: Postojna caves, Piran and Portorož - the beautiful Slovene coast line

Stop At: Postojna Cave, Jamska cesta 30, Postojna 6230 Slovenia
Visit the biggest caves in Europe and take a guided tour with a train inside the caves.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Piran Town Walls, Ulica IX. Korpusa 29, Piran Slovenia
Visit the ond, medieval town of Piran located in the Slovenian cost. Beutiful vies of the city and neighbour countries Croatia and Italy from the city walls.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Portoroz Beach, Obala, Portoroz Slovenia
A modern coast city for Portorož has everything to offer. Nice beaches, great food and beautifull views of the Adriatic sea.

Day 3: Lakes Bled and Bohinj with possible funicular to monutain Vogel

Stop At: Lake Bled, Gregorchicheva ulica 22, Bled 4260 Slovenia
One of the most beautiful sites in Slovenia in Lake Bled with an small island in the middle We will take a traditional boat ride Pletna to the island and ring the bell for good luck. The is an interesting story about the bell.

Stop At: Bled Castle (Blejski Grad), Lake Bled, Bled 4260 Slovenia
The spectacular vies from lake Bled Caste and a traditional cake Kremšnita and coffe included in the castle visit.

Stop At: Lake Bohinj, Triglav National Park, Bohinjsko Jezero 4265 Slovenia
The hidden gem of Slovenia, the lake Bohinj will surprize you by it's beauty and nature. It the day is hot you can also take a swim in it.

A possible visit to mountain Vogel with spectacular views of the lake and mountains. The admission is 24 € and it is to be paid extra.
