About this activity
Your tour will begin with pickup in central London by a luxury, air-conditioned mini-bus (with Wi-Fi). Your small group will then begin its journey to the historic site of Runnymede where the Magna Carta was signed by King John more than 800 years ago, Visit the John F Kennedy memorial or the Ankerwycke Yew where Henry VIII courted Anne Boleyn.
Onwards to the Royal town of Windsor and Windsor Castle. Equally impressive inside and out, you will have the opportunity to tour the castle and visit the Grand State Apartments or even see the changing of the guard on certain dates. If you’d rather not visit the castle, you can explore Windsor itself and wander along the Long Walk to view the castle from the outside.
The last stop of the day is at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Yew Gardens. The collection of living plants is the largest and most diverse int he world. Take the treetop walk above the woodland floors and enjoy breath-taking views across the Gardens and beyond. Finally, return to central London at approximately 6:30pm.
