Our tour guide, Guy, was amazing. He had activity books for the kids, postcards with pictures of all the Kings/Queens/Tower “guests”, fun stories of intrigue/attempted escape, etc. he even did a re-enactment of a royal
This was a great tour. To boat down the Thames first was lovely as we learnt quite a few things about the buildings of London / history on the way down and then got to the Tower of London. Once there, our guide Viv knew all the best parts to show us and her knowledge was incredible. My son is 9 and the history gets a bit much for him after an hour or so, but I loved being able to ask so many questions, see the Crown Jewels, the Armour, the Ravens, the various parts of the tower of London and feel like I came away being able to engage in a conversation about those hundreds of years in history and the architecture / way of live etc. A wonderful tour and as a bonus we saw a 41 gun salute as the Netherlands' King and Queen were visiting. A great morning and highly recommend.
Excellent in all aspects. Lots of credits goes to the tour Guide (Edward), he made the tour very intriguing , educational, and full of excitement for every one children and adults alike.
We were lucky enough to have Trudy as our tour guide. She was AMAZING. Very informative and loves what she does. Great tour for the kids, early so we could miss the afternoon crowds.
We loved the whole tour, kids and parents alike got into it! Our guide was lovely woman, the kids loved her, she was like Mary Poppins. It started with a very nice ride on the Thames river where our guide told us stories about London old era. We skipped the line to get into the tower area with Royal guards that we got to talk to and take pictures with. Inside the tower of London there are many kids activities to make it interactive, plus generations of royal armors and jewelry. Definitely a fun family time!
