About this activity
Meet your guide in the heart of Soho and start with a brief introduction to the area to learn a little about its fascinating past. London is a buzzing metropolis boasting a blend of different districts, and so what better way to experience it than by sampling its varied cuisine? Soho is one of London’s oldest and most vibrant areas, a veritable melting pot of different cultures. For food lovers it’s a real highlight.
Stroll along Carnaby Street, passing its quirky shops and clothing boutiques, and then make your first stop at a trendy little breakfast venue, popular with in-the-know Londoners. Relax over a British breakfast tasting, then — with your hunger sated — continue your tour.
Amble past many of Soho’s famous landmarks including theaters, clubs and bars, and listen to your guide point out the highlights of the neighborhood. The restaurant scene is remarkably diverse, and the cuisines of Mexico, Italy, India, Korea, Taiwan and Japan are all represented around the charming streets and alleyways. Engage with restaurateurs and cafe owners, and sample a selection of treats as you go.
Please note that "Tour A" falls Tuesday, Friday and Saturday and "Tour B" on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Tour A and Tour B have different menus.
Menu A and B feature a variety of stops. Discover the first Brazilian Temakeria in London, taste delicious chocolate, explore bustling Chinatown, taste a homemade Margherita, dive into homemade gelato with dessert wine, and many other amazing stops.
Tour A finishes up with a visit to Gordon’s Wine Bar, while Tour B concludes in an Italian restaurant near Covent Garden.

We have been on food tours in many cities , and frankly this one was not the best . Our guide was not very knowledgeable about the Soho area , but the worst aspect was the poor organization of the tour . The places we visited were never ready for us when we got there , so there were long waits before being served , and in fact one of the venues did not know we were coming , and were unable to serve us at all . In other tours , the guide is not only very familiar with the owners of the venues , but is constantly phoning ahead to ensure everything is ready for us . On this tour , that just didn't happen . The tour company needs to organize things better.
Absolutely loved this tour! Scott was our guide and we were lucky to have him all to ourselves. The history of Soho, the amazing food and Scott's personality were all so appreciated! Thnx Scott!!! You ROCK!!!! Art and Lori from California
I had a very enjoyable experience last Friday on this tour. Gloria was very knowledgeable both about the area/history and the food. We had a small group, so got very individualized attention which I prefer. However, I'm pretty sure I made mention of my dietary restrictions and they weren't really addressed. Additionally, the description of the tour says we would have 10 samplings and in reality we only had 7.
We really enjoyed this tour and saw a new side to Soho than we had done so before. We now have lots of different restaurants to go and try when we are in London again. The dumplings and Indian snacks were a personal favourite, but all of the samples were yummy! Keera, our guide, was very knowledgeable and good fun.
Our tour ended up being just our party - so the 3 of us with our great tour-guide Sam. We loved it- great mix of walking around SoHo, hearing history and fun stories you wouldn't get on your own, AND delicious food!! All the food stops were great, of course I had a few favorites :) It was well-organized and Sam was also very accommodating for someone in our group who was pregnant and needed to change a few things (like sushi and alcohol). This was one of the highlights of our trip to London!
Super good tour. my husband and I had a private tour. It was great. We did several food stops and everyone of them was very good.
Absolutely a must for anyone visiting London. Mauritius was one of the best guides I have ever had. The tour was informative and she was still warm we felt like we were with family. All of the food was excellent. I can't even choose my favorite because they were all outstanding.
Wonderful tour with our guide Maurizia she took us to so many places that we would never have discovered on our own. We loved all the food and the variety of it, do not eat before this tour. Our guide Maurizia was exceptional in her knowledge and expertise throughout the tour.. We had a very friendly group from all over the world and enjoyed sharing this unique experience with them. A must do in London.
Thank you! Great tour - only negative was that I was alone no other participants. Learned a lot and loved going to SAID - best chocolate!!
