About this activity
Visit: Kensington Palace, Kensignton Gardens Kensington Gardens, London W8 4PX England
London's Kensington Palace has been a royal home for over 300 years, and parts of the palace still remain a private residence for members of the Royal Family today. Following a major renovation project, the palace now unveils many secret stories of past royal figures, painting Kensington Palace as the setting for many noteworthy events and dramas in royal history. Make your way through the spectacular King’s and Queen’s State Apartments, adorned with paintings from the Royal Collection, and stroll through the Kensington Palace Gardens at your leisure.
Explore the permanent exhibition, ‘Victoria Revealed,’ which is set within the rooms where Victoria grew up. Queen Victoria was born in the palace, and it was here that she learned she had become queen at just 18 years of age. She also held her first Privy Council meeting in Kensington Palace’s Red Saloon. Inspired by her own journals and featuring displays of personal objects, ‘Victoria Revealed’ gives an intimate account of Queen Victoria, exploring her life and reign through her own words.

Had difficulty finding the location where to switch out voucher for tickets. The address listed on the voucher/site directed us to a guard shack at the very end of the street. Turns out, we switched the vouchers at the actual entrance. Wasted a lot of time. Also, a docent to take us through and elaborate on exhibits would have been nice.
Purchased my tickets at a nice discount (they will send you a coupon) with Viator. I printed the voucher but forgot it at the palace, but they still accepted my booking because I was able to email my confirmation to them! Everyone was super nice and the exhibit of Queen Victoria was outstanding. The gardens around the palace were so beautiful! The whole experience from booking to leaving was excellent! This tour is highly recommended!
The rooms and grounds of Kensington Palace were gorgeous. Really enjoyed the exhibits for Queen Victoria' 200th Birthday.
No line the day i went so it was very easy getting in. No fast track needed but glad I had it just in case
Very straightforward and easy to pickup our tickets. We toured on our own and staff was readily available to answer questions. My daughter loved Princess Diana's fashion section which was a collection of our wardrobe pieces. The surrounding gardens and nearby pond were beautiful!
We love to go at our own pace, so this was the perfect way to see Victoria's childhood home.
Kensington is so beautiful!
Great day trip to the Palace, along with high tea at the Orangery.
