What a fun afternoon. We boarded the van and toured many highlights of the London rock scene. It was great to see Abbey Road Studios especially after the 50th year anniversary. We highly recommend this tour!
This tour was an amazing addition to our London trip! Our tour guide was Al, who was knowledgeable and entertaining! I would recommend this to anyone who has any interest in British Rock.
First visit to London...great experience beyond Parliament, Palaces; strolling along the Thames; and fish and chips! Our guide, Guy, did a great job. ( Photo ops at Abbey Road could have been managed better)
LOVED THIS TOUR! First, our guide Jimmy was friendly, helpful and KNOWLEDGEABLE! We saw lots of sites covering the Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Hendrix, Queen, Clapton, Clash, Sex Pistols - even Carly Simon! I’m a big fan, but my wife, who is not, thoroughly enjoyed all the history and visiting so many neighborhoods. Loved the stop at Bill Wyman’s Sticky Fingers restaurant and Jimmy photographed each of us on Abbey Road! Well worth it for even the casual fan!
We had a blast on the Rock Legends Small Group tour! The guide/driver was very prompt, very informative with all kinds of "tidbit" information, and maneuvered us through the London streets safely. There were 16 passengers and we all bonded by singing out loud to the broadcast music as we toured. Highly recommend!
I wish you had 10 stars for this tour!!!! Visiting Abbey Road has been on my bucket list for years. I have been to London 3 times prior to this trip and never made it to Abbey Road. What an absolutely fantastic tour this was!!! Our driver/guide was Bruce the owner of Rock Legends tour company He was SO knowledgeable and entertaining with his commentary throughout the tour. This is the only way you hear behind the scenes stories about rock legends. Plus - we were in a 16 passenger bus - not a gigantic motor coach so we were able to get through neighborhoods that big motor coaches couldn't we actually didn't see one big coach the whole time! We saw the current homes of Paul McCartney my favorite, Jimmy Paige, Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton and more. Of course we all know these rock stars spend a lot of time in the US but these are their homes when they are in the UK. So cool!! We also saw multiple recording studios Led Zepplin, Rolling Stones, etc. Drove by the pub still open that the Beatles hung out at back in the day. We stopped at Bill Wyman's Sticky Fingers restaurant for beverages or snacks. All kinds of authentic rock memorabilia in there. We also stopped in front of the former flat of John and Yoko great photo op! Abbey Road was my personal favorite. Our driver/guide took photos of all of us individual groups crossing the very busy Abbey Road. It's going to be my Christmas Card this year. We also sang some classic rock songs on the bus at random times and Bruce had plenty of trivia for us. Highlight of our time in London for sure!!! If you're an old rocker at heart.......you NEED to do this tour!!!
We had a totally brilliant time being driven around London hearing musical facts many of which we never knew even though we've both lived here for 50 years. The sights in the 3.5 hour tour are non-stop, from finding out where and how the Sex Pistols came to be, to where the Live Aid single was recorded. Bruce our guide was great fun, kept us entertained throughout and helped to make it a super afternoon, and his musical knowledge is amazing! Take care when having your photo done crossing Abbey Road though, not all drivers are patient!
Terrific amount of interesting facts, great guide
This is a must do in London if you have ever loved music. I humored my husband by going because he is a musician and I think I might have loved it even more than he did! Well, maybe not. Our friends said their tour guide was the best get him, but we thought ours was the best, so I concluded they are all fabulous, so it doesn't matter. The walk on Abby Road are pictures we will have in our scrap book forever as well as all the iconic music memorabiliac I made that word up sights we saw! So great!
Second time we did this exact tour. That should say it all !! This time with family and friends. Informative about the Rock Legends, where they lived, where they hung out, and the highlight if you are a Beatle fan crossing Abbey Road! Highly recommend this tour
Jim was a great tour guide, so knowledgeable! This was definitely a highlight of our trip!
