The one star was only because I actually got to Paris!! From start to finish this tour was nothing I expected... To begin with finding the guide to check in with at 6 am was difficult. Approximately 40 people asking each other where to start, finally finding representatives(not holding signs or wearing tags to identify a company) to find out you were in the wrong line!! Train ride was nice, but upon getting to Paris our bus guide continually yelled at us where to stand... treated like an elementary student on a field trip. Eiffel Tour restaurant was under renovation, so lunch was on the river cruise. The bus drove around for thirty minutes attempting to find boat while the guide jumped on and off to see where we should go. Boat cruise was beautiful, lunch was ok, but it was at this time we found out we would not have time to go into the Eiffel Tower(even though part of the tour was admission to Eiffel Tower). So we ran to get to the base of the tower only to have to turn around to run back to bus. Went to the Louvre and were told our guide would give us a tour, he disappeared. We had about 75 minutes at the Louvre, spent 30 minutes trying to find the Mona Lisa to find out it was moved and the wait was over 45 minutes, so another let down. Get back to our group to find out that a patron who was very vocal was able to get the guide to get him into the Mona Lisa. Over all our group of four spent over $1200 to experience none of the featured tour highlights. I would not recommend this to anyone!!!
My group of five took this short excursion to Paris, our first. Our tour guide Anna was on time at the meeting point. The Eurostar was also a first for us. Anna was wonderful pointing out the sites and location on the coach tour. The boat cruse and lunch was fantastic, there was champagne and lots of wine. Anna got us great seating with with wonderful view. I am pretty certain everyone on the tour has great time thanks to Anna.
When we originally signed up we had the option of adding the Louvre. When we inquired about the Louvre, we were told that it would not be an option because it was sold out. Why give the option if it can not be done. The tour guide was fine but did not want to go the extra mile to help us get into see the Mona Lisa. She actually told us that we were unable to but tickets at the museum and arriving at the Louvre at 4pm does not allow one any option to see anything - Why go there if you can't get in? Lunch wasn't great... and only going to the first floor of the Eiffel Tour? No other stops... Why waste your time on an hour long cruise if you cant even see the Arc d'Triumph ...
Trip was very pleasant, very well organized. Lunch on Eiffel Tower was amazingly delicious. We enjoyed it immensely. Great company, great job!!!
Forget that this is a tour- it’s a bus ride from the train to the Eiffel Tower with a few areas pointed out but, look quick- and no time for a photo. Long waits to get into the Tower and then a welcome, air conditioned restaurant. Nicely done but the fish soufflé did not appeal to all- they ate the bread- very rich chocolate dessert was fine but hard to finish- way too sweet- even kids pushed it away. Nice service and beautiful views. The tour guide was very friendly and helpful but she needed to push us along and watch the clock- understandable. I had a hard time with her accent but, honestly, there was no time to give a usual tour as I’ve stated above so it really didn’t matter. There was NO time to do anything by yourself- less than half an hour allotted at the Louvre- no time to go in- tour guide left us in an underground shopping area- not what I wanted to do. Swine cruise was nice but again long lines and rush, rush, rush. Would I do this again? No! Plan your own trip. Public transportation in both London and Paris are easy to navigate. And stay a night or two- would not be much more expensive.
The information we were given was to be at the train station by 6:00 in the morning. The train didn't leave until almost 8:00 am. I wish I had known that so we wouldn't have arrived so early. The lunch was amazing and we didn't wait in line long to get up to the Eiffel Tower. I do wish we had a bit more time at the Louvre. Forty-five minutes there couldn't even get us through the door, the line was too long.
Our tour started early and was great all day! Despite the heat in Paris. Charlotte was great! Very knowledgeable, made sure everyone was taken care of and very nice! Enjoyed talking with her. We also had a great group and we met some really nice people. We saw everything one comes to see and the cruise was great as well. Lunch was very nice and they accommodated allergies. Highly recommend this tour!
It was a great trip and the tour guide Anna was excellent. Anna showed interest in passengers' well being by methodically talking to everyone. Considering the horrible traffic in Paris, she gave us the best of whatever she can. Please consider expanding the tour by another two hours. We already lost an hour due to the time difference and on top of that we left at 07:52 a.m. on Saturday, instead of weekday's 7:00 a.m. departure. On top of that we ended up waiting about an hour for lunch. Those three hours would have helped everyone to see more of Paris and the Eiffel Tower.
Overall, the tour was good. This was my first time in Paris and I really enjoyed my time there. Be advised, if you are 10 minutes (or more) late, they will leave you behind. At least 5 people were left at the Eiffel Tower and 2 more at the Louvre.
Great tour. Will recommend to family and friends. The bus was a little late and we actually lost time for ourselves off the bus to shop. Other than that, it was a great experience.
Our guide was Anna. She was interesting, informative, educational, funny and very patient. It is a very busy tour amongst a very busy and crowded Paris, but if you have a day to see some quick sites in Paris, this is a wonderful day well spent. I highly recommend this tour. Anna did a wonderful job getting us to where we needed to be (as well as our bus driver!) and in time for our events. They both made it all work very well for our day.
Booked this tour for me and my 18 and 20 yr old children. Getting on train and then the bus was very easy. The speaker on the bus wasn’t working right so we had no idea what the tour guide was saying. The traffic and construction going on in Paris was worst than NYC (and I’m from NYC) River Cruise was great as was the Eiffel Tower brunch. (They had gluten free for my daughter). Back on the bus to The Louvre was rush and the tour ( which we paid for on the train) was extremely rushed, not worth the money for 35 mins. All in all if the tour was another hour to have in museum it would have been perfect. But traffic has a lot to do with that. Steve and his partner did a great job keeping everyone 41 people together.
My experience was very good but the service of Diané, the driver, was outstanding. When I was in the Louvre Museum I forgot my prescription glasses and he had the courtesy to find it and bring it back to me. Muchísimas gracias!
A lot packed in 1 day. Early start. Eurostar to Paris. Bus tour and cruise on the Seine River. This not so good too crowded could not sit on top to view the sights of Paris. Lunch at the Eiffel Tower. and the view. As usual a wait to get down. Not all lifts working. A short time at the Louvre, saw the main sights Mona Lisa. Venus de Milo. Had expected a museum guide, not our tour guide. Still ok
Enjoyed the trip for the most part however timing became an issue. Lunch at the Eiffel Tower seemed rushed because of our group’s late arrival and the long wait to get through security. Eiffel Tower time after lunch for photo ops and the like was pretty much non-existent as we had to get back to the bus to move on to the Louvre. Tour guide did not add much to the experience. Believe this tour is overpriced for what it delivers. Would recommend eliminating one part (Louvre?) to allow for more quality time during the rest of the day.
The day trip form London Paris was a excellent trip. The day went very smooth as planned. My tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable and caring. The only thing I was not to happy about was the lunch on the tower. It was all that, service was not what I expected but other than that it was worth going with the tour.
