The Day trip was boring due to the Tour Guide did not know a lot of her facts she had to refer to her notes also when she did her walking tour she did not wait for everyone to catch up she just explained the attractions to the few people at the front A rather disappointing day
Guide very knowledgeable. Lots of secrets revealed. Beautiful country side. Nice people. Wonderful history of the area and places used for the programmer.
Great tour of various locales where Midsomer Murders are filmed. Great view of local scenery and history. Guide showed clips of episodes to highlight where that scene was made and what it really looks. Some movie magic. Good time but don’t be late to meeting spot which is just outside of Holland Park Underground Station besides the Starbucks. Plan accordingly.
We are very devoted fans of Midsomer Murders, so our expectations were high. This tour far exceeded them !!! Our guide, Caroline, was wonderful. She was so knowledgeable about the show and about relevant British history. She added so much to our enjoyment of the tour with her commentary and she showed us clips from the show that were pertinent to the amazing sites and villages we visited. Our driver Steve skillfully handled all the narrow and winding roads we drove on. We highly recommend this tour, both for devotees of Midsomer Murders and those interested in seeing the beautiful British countryside.
We visited quite a few of the villages used in the filming of Midsomer Murders. Even so, the pace didn't feel as fast as it must have been. Our guide (I wish I could remember his name!) was quite knowledgeable about all of the villages. And he didn't limit himself to Midsomer Murders. If there were other interesting places to see, he pointed those out as well. For example, Agatha Christie's home and the church where The Vicar of Dibley was filmed. This was well worth the money and time spent!
We were a small group in a comfy coach for this tour. Our guide was great as she was very knowledgeable about the show. We visited many of the filming locations with stops that allowed us to get out and walk around and through the villages that were used in the episodes. Our lunch stop at Henley on the Thames included a a walking tour of the main street and along the river before re-boarding the coach. Because the filming locations are in very country settings we were able to get great views of the English countryside as we drove from one filming location to another.
Our tour guide, Caroline, was not only able to provide lots of interesting information about the buildings and villages used to film the Midsomer Murders but she was also a wealth of knowledge about so much to do with the countryside and history of the shires we passed through and sites used for a variety of other movies and series. It was an excellent tour and jam packed but will sufficient time to walk around and take photos, be immersed in village life and even pop into some of the pubs for quick drink. Caroline also had an excellent sense of humour and was well versed in the Midsomer series. I had a fabulous day and would highly recommend this tour.
Loved this tour! Our guide, Caroline, had extensive knowledge of the series and pointed out many places of interest. Everywhere we visited was picture perfect, beautiful countryside and gardens. The tour was well managed with plenty of stops and time to walk around the villages. Highly recommend this tour.

Tour included Henley,Dorchester,Ewelme,Wallingford, and others.A must for Midsomer Murders fans. Guide Rob Heginbotham is the perfect person to do this tour. He is knowledgeable about the Midsomer, historical information, and details that bring every location to life. Will look for Rob's name on future tours.
