Our tour guide, Neil, was simply outstanding. He was very knowledgeable about English history and the monarchy. He was also very friendly and attentive to our needs -- he wanted to ensure we had a great day! Best tour guide we ever had. This tour and Neil are highly recommended.
Lee met with us right on time and he has do much knowledge about London and when he took us to windsor.. He knew those amazing shortcuts... He knew Stonehenge like the back of his hand...and magna Carter too.. Lee recommended this amazing restaurant "the Wheatstaf Inn" and the family loved the food. When you are passionate about what you do.. It shows and Lee is pure passion for showing the real wonders of London. Highly recommended and he immediately fits in like Family. Thank you Lee
Our guide Douglas was fantastic! He gave us loads of information and was very engaging. We decided to visit Salisbury Church rather than bath and it was very interesting. He got us right close to Stonehenge so we didn’t have to queue up for the shuttle. Very professional and well worth the trip.
Our guide Lynton was excellent, very knowledgeable and accommodating. Windsor castle ended up being closed, at the Queen’s will but we were able to switch to Hampton Palace, Salisbury Cathedral and the Magna Carta.
Layton was absolutely incredible. Extremely knowledgeable of the everywhere we went and was very careful to point out all of the details of every location. He was careful with time management but also stopped to take pictures for us when we asked. This is the only way to see these places in an efficient manner. You get more than what you pay for this tour given Layton's knowledge of the areas and knowledge of their inner workings! Take the day to participate in this tour, you will not regret it!
We thoroughly loved our day with Lynton! He was a wonderful, knowledgeable guide and made the very hectic day as easy as possible. Will definitely use him for another tour in the London area!
From the word go the trip was just amazing. Our driver Lynton was an absolute star. He was friendly , accommodating and so learned. Every question was met with the most enthusiastic answers ever. Simply the best.
We went with Lynton as our guide to Windsor , Stonehenge and Salisbury . The trip was nice and Lynton is really good showing and giving us his knowledge . Even he showed us a very nice place (traditional English pub) in a place near Salisbury. Very recommended
I made the mistake of booking this tour for a Bank Holiday, and without our guide, it would have been a total disaster. He knew everyone everywhere we went, helping us navigate through crushes of people to see everything we wanted to see. Moreover, the man was so brilliant that it was almost intimidating. I learned so much from him that I am still digesting the information. This is exactly the experience I was hoping for in every way. As far as I am concerned, there is no better way to explore new places.
We loved doing the private tour. Our guide Jay was great! He was very knowledgeable and high energy. He gave us lots of options for things to see during the day and had great advice for how to see the most at each attraction. The pick-up and drop-off was so convenient. We had a great day out!
Private tours are all about the guide and Jay is the best. He not only knows all the ins and outs of getting the most out of each place visited, he also takes great pride in the service he provides. Jay is knowledgeable about each venue and has a fantastic sense of humor that kept all of us laughing the entire trip. Windsor Castle and Stonehenge are must sees if you're in England. We decided to substitute Lacock for Bath, which is the beauty of a private tour. Lacock is a preserved village where many well-known films have been shot including Harry Potter and Downton Abbey. It's fun to see the exact places many scenes were filmed. This tour was a great value and I highly recommend it.
