Stop At: Royal Mews, Buckingham Palace Buckingham Palace Road, London SW1W 1QH England
Then it is time to visit The Royal Mews of Buckingham Palace, one of the finest working stables in existence. Here you’ll be provided with a bespoke multimedia guide, so you don't miss a moment. Discover for yourself all the different royal coaches and cars that are still used by the Royal Family to this day, as well as the royal horses in their stables. Watch as the stablemen take precious care of the Queens Windsor Greys and Cleveland Bays; if you’re lucky you might even see them in the exercise ring!
In the State Stables, check out the royal liveries and get the opportunity to play dress up and take some fun photos in specially-created livery. You can even step into a royal carriage, sit down and practice your regal wave just like Queen Victoria did in 1897 with the replica Semi-State Landau.
See the famous Diamond Jubilee Coach that was built to celebrate The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012 and other royal treasures like the Gold State coach commissioned by George III in 1762, which has been used at every coronation since that of George IV in 1821; the Glass Coach; and the replica of The Semi-State Landau which the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge traveled in after their wedding.
