Although the boat ride is at your own expense, a 2-for-1 voucher is provided. Discover the well-loved legacy of Liverpool and the river Mersey, with its musical and maritime past. Just sit back and enjoy the fascinating commentary, wonder at the wildlife and absorb the history.
Finally make you way back to Lime Street Station for the train back to London, arriving at approximately 9.15pm.
Day 2 : Afternoon Rock Tour, London
London is the city that The Beatles based themselves in from 1963 – the place to go for any aspiring group that wished to become a nationwide success. The Beatles developed their craft at the iconic Abbey Road recording studio as well as making TV, radio and live performances and socialising at the many swinging hotspots where exclusive clubs and 'happenings' were the places to be seen.
Many of the most famed, iconic and instantly-recognisable images of the Fabs, from nationwide Beatlemania to their final roof top appearance, were taken in London. The city provides the backdrop for all the LP covers from the first to the last; the locations for 'Hard Day’s Night', 'Help' and 'Magical Mystery Tour' were largely shot in London. Every official Beatles record was recorded in one of London's studios including Soho's Trident Studios, EMI's Abbey Road, and their own Saville Row basement. And while in London the Beatles got by 'with a little help from their friends' and, in turn, influenced them - The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix are all part of the Beatles' story.
This intimate small group tour takes you through the back streets of London to places where other tour buses don't go. Your specialist rock guide will take you to over 100 iconic Beatles and rock sites during which you can enjoy trivia, original recordings and compare album covers to the real thing.
Additional Information
Please note that this combination is not an overnight tour but composed of two separate days of sightseeing – accommodation arrangements must be booked independently.

The best part of the day in Liverpool was the bus trip in the afternoon. The driver was well informed, presented in a friendly and fun manner and took us to many interesting stops. The Beatles Museum was ok but instead of the headset I think a walking guided tour would have been more interesting. Day 2 was more of a Rock N Roll tour with some Beatles content. Nonetheless, our guide Lee was great. I highly recommend him for any tour he conducts. His knowledge of this topic is fantastic.
If you are a Beatle fan this is the tour for you. I am still amazed I was able to see where it all began. I had a nice surprise we were up graded to first class on the train trip. Timing was perfect on all stops. Tour guides were fun and knowledge. I am still pinching myself.
