Stand on the world-famous Meridian Line that divides the eastern and western hemispheres of the globe, journey through space and time in the magical Planetarium and learn more about Greenwich Mean Time. Punting Tour on the River Cam
The shallow River Cam meanders through 'The Backs' offering majestic views of Cambridge's riverside colleges and gardens. The best way to experience them is by hiring a punt, standing on the back of the craft and pushing the river bed with a pole. Figuring out how to steer is at your own risk, though if you do fall in be assured that the river no longer serves as the colleges' open sewers.
