Stop At: St. Paul's Cathedral, St Paul's Churchyard, London EC4M 8AD England
St Paul's Cathedral sits on Ludgate Hill - one of the three ancient hills of London, and the highest point in the City of London. A place of worship dedicated to Saint Paul has stood on this site for more than 1,400 years; however, the present Cathedral as we know it today was built during the 17th century and designed by esteemed British architect Sir Christopher Wren as part of a major rebuilding programme after the Great Fire of London. This incredible Cathedral towered over London for over 250 years as the tallest building in the entire city until well into the 20th century.
You will go behind locked doors to explore the Triforium area, as well as the stone gallery and the golden gallery with the experts guide. Please note that the Whispering gallery is temporarily closed until further notice.

Leslie tour of London and the Tower of London was excellent. Janet knowledge and tour of St Paul Cathedral was superb. It is worth the price of admission.
Very well organized. I recommend this tour. Leslie, our guide, was very nice, funny, knowledge and well prepared. This tour is kids friendly.
The information provided on the Viator website is incorrect. Do not go to Katherine’s Gift Wrap and do not go to the address provided either as that is the tour company address. I have pointed this out to Viator and they are apathetic. Only go to the main entrance of the Tower of London. If you go to Katherine’s or the address provided you will be driving all over London as Katherine’s is 20 minutes in traffic from the Tower of London
Wow! This tour was spectacular! From early admission to The Tower (which is key - you should have seen the crowds coming in when we were leaving at 11 a.m.!), to a great behind-the-scenes tour of St. Paul's (the triforium!) to our charming and knowledgeable guide (we love you Norma!!), this tour was worth every penny!
Our tor guide,Deborah was excellent! She was knowledgable friendly and fun. A very long day but a wonderful experience
The tour was very interesting and seeing the Tower of London and the Crowned Jewels was amazing. The early tour is great for avoiding the crowds.
First and most importantly, I need to say Sandra (our guide) was a dear and we liked her very much. She just wasn't the guide for our gang of 2 8yo boys, a 4yo boy, and their mama who knows we need to keep things moving. The opportunity to see the opening ceremony of the Tower was intense, awesome, so cool, WOW (as my boys said) and I loved it too. Definitely a great memory for all of us and one well worth getting up at 6:30 to see. Sandra helped facilitate this beautifully and was patient with everyone but once this was over we really needed to get moving. We were encouraged to move fast into the Crown Jewels display by the Beefeater who walked us through the ceremony but Sandra took her time explaining the surroundings and Tower itself. Having three boys to wrangle I really wish we could have beaten the growing crowd so I could feel more confident in letting the bigger boys rush ahead but we ended up with a lot of good information and behind about 200 people. This was frustrating but not totally unreasonable and the way the display is organized we actually did really well - Massive Kudos to the planners. We then had some free time to wander around and the boys and I enjoyed that but if it had been me alone I would have preferred to have a guide to show me all the little ins and outs. It seems I spent a LOT of money for the few parts we did get explained. After the Tower we walked for an hour to St. Paul's, partly because I think Sandra needed a slower pace and partly because I think she is a good guide who recognized a few of her visitors needed more time. That said, the same walk was accomplished by me and the boys in about 20 minutes on the way back. As you may imagine, I had a hard time wrangling the boys' frustration but once we got to the square surrounding the Cathedral everyone in our group including Sandra were wonderfully patient about letting the boys run around us while we waited our time of entry. The bit we enjoyed in the cathedral was very interesting, again, Sandra knows a TON and I would probably hang on every word if I was alone but.... obvs. We left the group to move on our own and really enjoyed seeing Admiral Nelson's crypt, the Duke of Wellington's tomb, and so on. Really a wonderful chance to experience some significant history of London. I encourage anyone who is a history buff to take this tour with the understanding/caveat that you may need to slow your pace a bit (a lot?) depending on the guide.
Exactly the tour we expected. Our guide was entertaining and kept the interest of both the children and adults on the tour.
