Andrew did a great job showing us a variety of areas. As a Southern California native, who moved away a long time ago, I found myself reliving a lot of things I knew. I also learned a lot. My friend, who had never been to California learned a lot. We both head a great time! I highly recommend this tour, especially the personal tour. You can customize it to your liking and make the most of your time.
Although it is a bit more expensive, my wife and I HIGHLY recommend the Private Tour of LA. We were complete tourists on our first trip to LA. Andrew, our guide, was very knowledgable and entertaining, and with the Private Tour, he was able to adjust the pace and the itinerary on-the-fly to accomodate us. We had a great day, enjoying the enrgy of Venice Beach and the beauty of Santa Monica in the morning. The Hollywood Hills were lovely and my wife finally got to get a good view of the Hollywood sign. The Stars on the Walk of Fame and the hand prints and autographs of the legendary stars in the cement at the Grauman Chinese Theater were remarkably cool, even after having seen them in movies and on TV for all our lives. Cruising Beverly Hills and The Sunset Strip were also fun. Even getting stuck in traffic on the 405 heading back to the hotel was a fitting LA experience. All-in-all, we enjoyed the day thoroughly.
Our tour was excellent. The guide was very well informed, very conscious of concentrating on the things we were interested in, friendly and helpful and patient. Great way to discover LA.
