Stop At: Nam Khan, Luang Prabang 01000 Laos

Get picked up from your Luang Prabang hotel in the morning and head toward the banks of the Nam Khan River to board a stable river boat for a leisurely morning ride. Watch distant mountains and jungle-covered hillsides drift by as you cross through the calm currents, landing on the other side before trekking to Theung village. When you arrive, chat with locals about their daily lives, tour the village, and then continue on along a steeply rocky trail that leads to Lao Sung.
