Stop At: Phosi Market, Phothisarath Road, Luang Prabang 0600 Laos
We visit the Phosi Market with its array of offerings including dried buffalo skin, local tea, saltpeter and hill-tribe weaving as well as vegetables and livestock. Laos is known for its traditional crafts, and today we visit the ethnic villages of Ban Ouay, (Hmong), Ban Ou (Lowland Lao) and Ban Thapene (Khmu).

Stop At: Kuang Si Falls, Luang Prabang 06000 Laos
Escape the city for a day in the Lao countryside on this private full-day tour from Luang Prabang. "La" our tourguide was incredibly knowledgable, patient, and enthusiastic. It exceeded our expectations and ended up being one of my favorite spots in Asia. The waterfall is even more beautiful than the pictures. Would hands down plan another trip here with the same tourguide/company.
Nothing prepares you for the beauty of the Kuang Si Waterfalls. We really enjoyed this tour. Mr. Song was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. We learned a lot about the waterfalls, the bears in the adjoining Bear Sanctuary, and the types of plants in the area. He also took us for a quick visit to a small Hmong village, and to see where the Mekong meets the Nam Khan. At the end of the tour, he gave us many tips on what to see in Luang Prabang. We felt very fortunate to have a guide who truly loves his city.
