Head to Lake Lucerne’s Pier 7, near the Lucerne railway station, to board the spacious 161-foot (49-meter) motor yacht. On board, find a comfortable spot on the main deck or upper deck and get ready for your 1-hour cruise around Lake Lucerne!
Take in views of the breathtaking mountain scenery, marked by steep Alpine peaks, sloped forests and fertile meadows and valleys beyond. This uniquely shaped, 44-square-mile (114-sq-km) lake is often referred to as the heart of Switzerland, and is surrounded by four glorious cantons: Lucerne, Uri, Schwyz and Unterwalden.
The yacht's upper deck features custom-designed furniture and a sliding roof that can be opened and closed according to the weather, letting you enjoy the views in comfort. We loved the boat tour that included headphones so we could understand the narrator's words and hear the beautiful classical music of Lucerne classical composers! Such an easy, lovely way to see the beauty of the lake and surrounding landscape. Very romantic!
We had a gorgeous day, and enjoyed a city tour on our own in Lucerne before we had a boat sightseeing on the lake. The boat was very nice and comfortable, absolutely quiet. We really enjoyed the whole boat ride. It was exactly one hour. What a wonderful scenery of the surrounding mountains that the boat ride allows us to enjoy.
My family enjoyed the tour on Lake Lucerne. The tour guide was very informed of the area and gave us great insight on the local legends and history. I would recommend this tour to anyone in the area.
This was a wonderful way to experience the lake, the views and the relaxation of Lucerne. The boat can get very crowded so make sure to show up a little early to get in the line for the better viewing spots.

Very pleasant afternoon / early evening cruise on the lake.
This was an excellent hour's cruise in a splendid and stylish boat. Snack bar on board was appreciated and of course the scenery was great. Can't imagine why anyone would not wish to ake this trip.
We were supposed to take the 10:00 am excursion. While waiting for the boat, it started raining, My son and I waited a bit, but the rain got worse. We decided to go back to the hotel. I'm actually giving this 4-star rating to Lake Lucerne as the next day the sun was shining and the view we had of the lake and surrounding areas was magnificent. Sad to say, we were going home.
