An intimate way to get a tour of old town. Operator is able to alter the tour to what you may be most interested in and sites you want to see. I appreciated the ability to see the secret passageways and understand some of the history. Of note, you will meet vendors at some of the stops and while they aren't pushy, it did make me uncomfortable. However, it is a very good way to get an understanding of old town and focus in on areas you want to return to at the end of the tour.
I was a bit uncertain when I booked this tour of Lyon...BUT it was one of the BEST tours I have ever taken anywhere. The gentleman was so kind and helpful (I have some mobility issues). His English was excellent...he was totally lucid and clear in his narrative regarding the history of the city and points of significant not e in the city. He dropped us of where we were going next...far from his usual route. Very HIGHLY recommended!!!!!!!!
