The guided tour starts outside Saint Jean Cathedral where we will meet. Departing from the oldest square in Lyons, you will enter the historic neighbourhood in order to discover all the charms of its Renaissance architecture. Our guide will show you its courtyards and "traboules". These typical sheltered passageways enter the medieval structures in order to reveal all their splendours.

The first gourmet stopover at one of the top cake shops in the city will offer you the chance to savour a delicious praline speciality and discover the secrets of how it is made.

After crossing the Saône, we will also pass through Place des Terreaux. Between the Town Hall and Palais Saint Pierre, which houses the Museum of Fine Arts, you will be able to admire the city's architecture.

Our walk in the Presqu'ile then continues to the Atelier de Soierie. A guided tour will present the techniques of printing and hand-painting on silk, traditions cultivated in Lyons since the time of the "canuts" silk workers.

Slightly further on, you will discover an authentic cheese factory and enjoy a gourmet break around a glass of wine.
