About this activity
Itinerary
This Segwaytour includes roundtrip transportation for up to 4 people from central LYON (from your Hotel) to the Beaujolais. You will be asked to be at the pick-up location 1h prior to start of your Segwaytour. Our driver willl bring you back to your original spot in Lyon after your wine tasting. The drive will be approximatly 35 minutes.
Once you have reached the Beaujolais, you will be trained on how to use a Segway.
The 1hour 15 minute Segwaytour starts from a wine-makers’ home, also known as a “Domaine” located in a charming village next to Villefranche-sur-Saone. Your local guide will take you through vineyards and other beautiful landscapes. You will stop to take pictures of the hillside and the many small villages surrounding them. After exploring the fields of nature, continue thru the medieval village of Oingt to admire its beauty and character. You will then reach a fabulous view point where, on a clear day, you can see the Mont-Blanc summit and the Alps from afar. You will then head back to the wine-maker’s home by roads and through fields. You will be welcomed by the winegrower who will happily introduce his wines and local products to you.
