Tour is bilingual; not English as stated. Hard to listen to one line at a time. Palace was fine. Gardens were disappointing. Tour guide was obviously bored. She walked so slow as to be hard to stay behind her. Her monologues were poor, short, without passion. She was frequently on cell phone during tour interrupting what little monologue there was. No time allotted to do gift shop: and postcards would have been desirable as no photos inside were allowed. If I had it to do over I would not do
We had a great time and enjoyed visiting the palace. The bus journey was interesting and allowed us to see parts of Spain on our way to Aranjuez.
The bus left right on time to Aranjuez, and halfway there, the Tour Guide got a call saying we had to return to pick up one more person. 30 people were on the bus at the moment! We had 90 min delay, and had no time to see the gardens, which was a shame. And we came back to Madrid very late.
Great place to visit
