A must see for Toledo . Our tour guide was excellent and well versed in where we went , however it was difficult to hear him in the bus. The wine trip was well worth going to . A great day and so glad we went
Great expirience. Very well organized!
Toledo is a easy and wonderful day trip from Madrid. We had a very small group only 3! so our tour through the city felt very personable. The coach that drove us was very nice. We especially enjoyed visiting the winery and could have spent more time there. We opted not to have the lunch, but ended up eating the provided lunch and paying for it on our own. The good part of this was that while driving up to the lunch location we stopped for some fabulous, picturesque views of Toledo which we would have missed otherwise. The lunch was only okay and part of us wishes we would have stayed to explore the town more rather than sitting down for a long lunch. Overall a recommended day trip!
Unfortunately we had a guide that was just not into it. I think her name was Carmen She seamed disinterested and acted like she would have rather been somewhere else. In fact the we took tips from other tourist who were on different tours and pointed things out to us. The lunch was good and the restaurant sits on a hill top over looking the town. The winery was fun the person pouring was a nice guy and he was very generous with the pours.
A lot was covered and although we enjoyed each building we feel that a less time in each one would have been better. The guide seemed disinterested and failed to engage effectively with our group. She often spoke incessantly in a monotone voice before the group were even gathered.
