About this activity

Be ready to depart from your hotel between 7:30am and 8:30am for your full-day private guided hike to the highest summit in Sierra Tejeda. After fueling up with breakfast, head out with your very own professional geographer guide into the mountains. Hike across snowfields where local villagers once harvested ice to help preserve fish and other foods before the invention of modern refrigeration.

Take a break around noon for a traditional mountaineering picnic lunch before making the final push to the summit, situated about 6,500 feet (2,000 meters) above sea level. Enjoy the well-earned views of the Mediterranean coast from the top before descending back to your starting point. Relax with a drink and traditional Spanish tapa before returning to your hotel in an eco-friendly car at around 6pm.
