About this activity
Day 1:
Pickup in Managua airport. Night at Managua or at Granada, according to the flight schedule.
Day 2:
Day at La Granadilla, a local rural community where you will get in touch with real Nicaraguan! Visit of Mombacho volcano's surrounding area and of this rural communities.
Day 3:
Trekking to the top of the Mombacho volcano. Free afternoon at Granadilla community and refreshing bath at Aguas Agrias natural pools.
Day 4:
Leaving to Ometepe, the biggest American island is a sweet lake! You will visit the main beaches of this island in the afternoon and enjoy Charco Verde Natural Reserve.
Night at El Porvenir Hotel.
Day 5:
Climbing Concepción Volcano.
Please note: If it is not possible to climb it because of the weather conditions, you will climb Maderas Volcano, which is inactive.
Day 6:
Walk up to San Ramón Waterfall in the morning and relax in Ojo de Agua natural pools in the afternoon.
Day 7:
Traveling from Ometepe to León, passing by Masaya volcano. Night at León, at Malinche hostel.
Day 8:
Tour to Cerro Negro and sand-boarding. Afternoon in Asososca Lagoon. Night at León.
Day 9:
Trekking along Pilas el Hoyo volcanic complex.
Night at León
Day 10:
Climbing Telica volcano in the afternoon to see lava and its active crater.
Night at León
Day 11:
León-Jiquilillo. It's a typical fishermen town with a large and beautiful beach. Free day in the beach and night at Jiquilillo, at Rancho Esperanza.
Day 12:
San Cristobal climbing. Night at Jiquilillo.
Day 13:
Cosigüina volcano climbing. Night at Jiquilillo.
Day 14:
Free time in the morning to relax at the beach and back to León in the afternoon.
Day 15:
León/Managua flight back home.
