Flor de Caña Rum Factory Tour

The tour includes visits to the Dome of rum (Slow Aged), a barrel of rum, Operational Area, Video Presentation, Introduction sample the rum tasting and finally access to the Rumelier Museum / Bar & Gift-Shop Flor de Caña.

Once you are at the entrance of Flor de Caña, your senses can detect it. Barrels, a railroad, and warehouses create a unique environment along the locals working in each station. 6 stations await for you, including the family reserve with finest rum tasting, cooperage, mini theater, warehouses, and a museum in the world’s biggest rum barrel.

After a unique experience in one of the world’s top rum factories, you visit colonial city of León. This city, once the capital of Nicaragua, is filled with a history of battles, poets, heroes, and education. It holds the largest and most beautiful cathedral of Latin America, awarded 'World Heritage Site' by UNESCO, and colorful joyful traditions as “La Gigantona”.

You will end the tour with a stroll through the San Jacinto Volcanic Fields, a place where hot steam and gas bubble through the mud from the depths of Telica volcano. The field is not large, but it is interesting to see the different holes that vary in size and color.
