Tour to the Konbaung Dynasty

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel. Then visit start the day with a visit to the Shwe In Bin Monastery, a beautiful example of teak architecture in Myanmar. From here, stop at several local labs, including wooden sculptures,

marble masonry, and gold leaf processing. Mandalay is known for his masonry work, and you

will have the feeling of pride that these artisans place in their work talking to them. Later,

continue with the world's largest book known locally as the Khuthodaw pagoda. Composed of a

golden stupa and hundreds of surrounding sanctuaries with inscriptions in marble, it is a marvelous walk. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in the heart of Mandalay before going to the Zegyo Market and

Mandalay Palace, the first palace to be built in Mandalay by King Mindon when he changed his capital of Amarapura in 1861, to fulfill an old prophecy. We will take you back to your hotel in the afternoon to relax.
